The club is fully equipped to show the more traditional prints and slides and has made a point of maintaining a high quality level of equipment. In particular it has kept pace with the latest thinking in photographic circles and has acquired a 'state of the art' digital projector and computer. This enables the club to run internal digital projected image competitions and to participate in similar inter-club competitions.
Typically from the 2009/10 season the Southern Photographic Federation will no longer have a slide competition, this is being replaced with a digitally projected image competition and WEBCC is well placed for this change. Another advantage of having a digital projector is that it enables the club to run its own digital tuition evenings and similar events.
The club has a range of equipment for the members to use. These include:
- A Flash Lighting System, suitable for a mini studio setup. It comprises 2 portable flash units complete with umbrellas
- Photographic books - a range of books to help improve photographic skills
- CDs of copyright-free music
- A range of Tutorial DVDs
