Talk by Dougie Wallace

Scottish photographer Dougie Wallace is internationally recognised for his long-term social documentary projects and a distinct direct style of expressive street photography. He has won prestigious awards, exhibited in world-renowned institutions and photographic festivals. Dougie's idiosyncratic point of view comes to life in his critically acclaimed books.
Stags, Hens and Bunnies, A Blackpool Story and Shoreditch Wild Life turned Dougie into a household name among taste-makers.
Road Wallah offers a unique insight into the world of Bombay cab drivers.
Harrodsburg, won the inaugural 'Magnum Photography Award 2016'.Well Heeled is an observation about the cultural shift among dog owners.East Ended is a reflection on gentrification and its ambiguous and fraught relationship with street art and local communities.

Talk by Simon Roberts

Simon Roberts is a visual artist based widely recognised for his large-format, tableaux photographs of the British landscape. His practice also encompasses video, text and installation work, which together, interrogate notions of identity and belonging, and the complex relationship between history, place and culture.
He has exhibited widely and his photographs reside in major collections, including the George Eastman House, Deutsche Börse Art Collection and Victoria & Albert Museum. In 2010 he was appointed the official British Election Artist by the House of Commons Works of Art Committee to produce a visual record of the General Election on behalf of the UK Parliamentary Art Collection; and in 2014 he represented Britain during the UK-Russia Year of Culture.
Author of several acclaimed monographs including Motherland, We English, Pierdom and Merrie Albion – Landscape Studies of a Small Island.

Talk by Richard Young

Richard is a multi - award winning, professional artist with nearly 20 years’ experience in all aspects of the art world. He opened his first gallery in 2021 in Wokingham. Predominantly a figurative artist, Richard creates all of his oil paintings entirely by knife, often in a limited colour palette and mixing only on the canvas.
Richard will talk to about a wide range of topics including scanning, restoration, printing, mounting and framing. He will also discuss aspects of selling and marketing along with how to create an online presence.

David is a well respected Travel and Landscape photographer who describes himself as a businessman with a camera. He is a Canon aficionado and has worked extensively with them including producing several instructional videos.

Benjamin is an internationally published, award-winning freelance photographer, college photography tutor, writer and occasional filmmaker.
A previous winner of the Landscape Photographer of the Year, he is dedicated to celebrating the beauty of Great Britain's coast, countryside and architecture through photography.

Paul is a fine art photographer, Fuji ambassador, speaker and photography mentor. Previously picture editor at the Times, Paul now concentrates on his own practice as a freelance photographer and tutor.
His philosophy now revolves around mindful photography. He advocates that this approach will help you to feel more connected and content, and to enjoy the art of photography in a new way.
